Frequently asked questions.
When is GROW Festival of Regenerative Food & Farming?
Saturday, February 22, 2025. Gates open at 8am to give you time to enjoy a coffee or breakfast, meet up with friends or plan your day before programmed sessions start around 9am. The festivities run all day and into the early evening. We’ll publish the up-to-date program with more exact timings a couple of weeks out.
Where is GROW?
All the day’s activities will be at (and adjacent to) the beautiful Kyneton Racecourse at 44 Campaspe Place in Kyneton, Victoria, Australia. It’s a green, shady, roomy venue in Kyneton, a historic rural town an hour by freeway from Melbourne (Tullamarine) airport, an hour from Bendigo and just over an hour by car or train from Melbourne CBD.
How much are tickets and what do they include?
Tickets are $100 for anyone 16 and over and include entry to all speaker sessions, safaris, exhibitor workshops and panel discussions all day. Your ticket also includes parking and a $3 donation to our local CFA brigade for managing parking on the day (as no one carries cash these days to give them a donation at the gate). Ticket seller Humanitix also charges a 3% booking and admin fee.
When will you publish the program?
We know a lot about the program already but we’re still working on fine-tuning who will speak when and on which stage. Once you have your ticket, check the website as we update details. We’ll be announcing speakers progressively between now and late January and we’ll publish an almost-final program a couple of weeks out from the festival.
Is the venue suitable if I’m differently abled?
We have accessible parking and toilets, a lift if we’re using an upper level and the venue is relatively flat but if you’re unsure, please send us an email via the contact form and we will do our best to answer specific questions.
Can I bring my children to GROW?
This an agricultural learning day designed for adults and is not designed for children, unless they’re really into agriculture. You are very welcome to bring children and there is no charge if they’re 15 and under and accompanied by a paid adult. They must be supervised by you at all times.
What about dogs?
Assistance dogs aside, GROW is not for dogs. Please leave your canine colleagues at home for a well-earned day off.
What if I have other questions?
Please get in touch via the contact form on this website and we’ll answer as soon as we can. As more questions occur to us, we’ll keep posting the answers on this page.
